Queens Only Queer Film Series is pleased to present a special screening program focusing on a selection of shorts from Argentina and Uruguay produced independently in the last five years.

The program, "Milongueando: Rioplatense Festival of Shorts" is presented in partnership with the local social group Mateando. Screenings in collaboration with DIVERSA, Gay Lesbian Trans Film Festival of Argentina, CINEMAROSA brings for the first time to New York City the visions and works of a new generation of filmmakers from the Southern Cone.

There will be a panel discussion with members of Mateando, and a Q&A session with attending film representatives from Argentina and Uruguay. Vino tinto and empanadas at the Unisphere Gallery of QMA. Not to miss: Special Mateando en Rosa Night at Club Atlantis on Friday, November 6, 10 PM –Free with a CINEMAROSA Pass until 1 AM.

 
  Q&A panel with attending filmmakers, organizers of Latin@ Pride, Unid@s, and local Latino LGBT organizations.  Cocktail reception will follow the presentation.  Wear your pride and receive free tickets for after party with CINEMAROSA OUTINGS at Atlantis Club in Jackson Heights.  
               

Directions to QMA: E, F, V, R Trains to 74th Street & Roosevelt Avenue, change for #7 Train. Exit at Willest Point/Shea Stadium, walk in the direction of the park. Museum is located in front of the metal structure, the Unisphere.
